Speech and Language Therapy

Direct speech and language therapy within naturalistic routines and activities can help support development of:

  • Speech sound errors

  • Joint attention and connections

  • Play skills

  • Functional communication

  • Receptive language

  • Expressive language

  • Literacy development

  • Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) evaluations and consultation

  • Social skills

Family/School Consultation

Speech and/or OT Consultation and conversation to problem solve and identify ways to incorporate skill development into your natural routines.

Consultation includes:

  • Initial intake forms to gather information

  • Scheduled phone, video chat, or in person contact to connect and discuss current challenges and ideas

  • Resources based on the conversation

Occupational Therapy

Direct occupational therapy in natural environments uses engagement in activities and routines to help support development of:

  • Fine motor skills

  • Visual motor skills

  • Motor planning

  • Sensory processing

  • Executive functioning

  • Emotional regulation

  • Activities of Daily Living (dressing, toileting, feeding)

  • Play skills


Payment

Please reach out to inquire about payment options and costs. Speech therapy services are currently in-network with Aetna, Cigna, and Maine Community Health Options. Private pay is also accepted. Consultation and OT services are private pay only at this time.

Upon request, we can provide a monthly “superbill” which can often be submitted to insurance companies for reimbursement. It is the responsibility of the family to contact their insurance provider to determine if this is available.
